Uploading Photos for the Technically Challenged

My computer recently crashed and when it was returned to me, most of the added software was gone.

I had been using Kodak Easyshare to crop and make other adjustments to my photos. When I was finished, the photos with changes were in my Pictures Library, ready for uploading to ebay.

I went to Kodak's website and they no longer support Easyshare, so I couldn't do a new download.

I can get as far as inserting my camera's memory card into the compter, where I can view my photos. However, I can make no adjustments or upload these photos.

Can anyone suggest, hopefully in something that I can understand, how I can make adjustments to the photos and then upload?

Have you read the information here?

http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/48148/selected/true

We would need a few details to know how to help and suggest reasonable options and/or solutions.

For instance:

  1. What type of camera are you using?
  2. Do you have a USB cable for it?
  3. Do you have a memory card reader?
  4. How old is your computer?
  5. What OS is your computer running?
  6. What software is still installed, specifically is there any photo editing software that may have come preinstalled on your computer?
