site problems.....listings and searches

if you are listening ebay i have a question.....when you have massive site problems like the one going on now why isnt there a live person who actually works for ebay available for members to contact? why are members forced to post the problem on chat and hope another member can hellp them? i know you have the money

They aren't even acknowledging the problem. My response from a rep said it takes 24 hours to index for a search. WHAT? It was never like that before for me. No help.
