Hi all, I have been having problems with my purchase history archives. When I try to access previous years and the current year 2017, it freezes and get the "unresponsive script" Any idea how this can be fixed, or maybe I am doing something wrong. This has been going on for a month or so, and finally had enough. The following is a cut and paste from the script. Thanks in advance!
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue."
Script: https://ir.ebaystatic.com/rs/c/templates-js-a052ca.js:7

If you can get the purchase history page to load at all, try reducing the number of items per page to 10 with the little links on the bottom right of the page.
or use this which *should* load the purchase history page with the number per page set to 10:
https://www.ebay.com/myb/PurchaseHistory#PurchaseHistoryOrdersContainer?ipp=10&melid=itemspp
See here for more info:
It appears that something in those scripts is running away, particularly on purchase history pages where there are large numbers of items displayed (50, 100, 200?). Reducing the number of items per page seems to get it under control, at least for some users.
Alternatively, you can block those scripts using Adblock Plus in Firefox, and others have reported that there doesn't seem to any downside to doing so (blocking them doesn't appear to kill any other functionality). The problem with that method is that the offending script names can change the next time a page is loaded, and blocking of that specific script is no longer effective. A new rule has to be created for the new script that is failing.
Solution to that is wholesale blocking of ALL the scripts in that directory. Instead of blocking a single script "ir.ebaystatic.com/rs/c/templates-js-a052ca.js" a more general rule like "ir.ebaystatic.com/rs/c/templates-js*" is used. The drawback there is that scripts that might do things you actually want *could* get caught under that rule and be blocked. Tradeoff.
Try the "reduced number of purchased items per page" approach from the beginning of this post first and see if it helps.

All you can do is wait it out and finally it will show the new Garbage page setup. Try this on for size. They had a problem accepting payment for three of my auctions from a new buyer. The buyer actually made six individual purchases and three payment went through fine 3 did not. Did they tell the buyer ? NO!
When I finally called them I was first on the phone with eBay for about 45 minutes Plus of course the 25 minute wait for soemone to talk too. Then Pay Pal for about the same amount of time. The Result they suggested I contact the buyer and or invoice through Pay Pal since eBay has it blocked because they say payment is in process. I di all of these things and nothing. Now the new Buyer is confused ( 2 Feedbacks) so finally I called eBay again 2 more times and they are still wanting me to convince the buyer he is responsible for fixing their Screw Up. In the meantime they are now listing his bids as unpaid and advising me I can start action against Him. The Innocent new buyer. I have already made arrangements to combine shipping for him and save him around $10.00. But in order to do that I need to be paid for all of my auctions from him. Oh yes I forgot, He tired to repay on the 3 auctions and it would not allow him to. Go Figure . Lastly I am getting really tired of calling another country to talk to customer service. I live in California and I believe eBay is based less then 100 miles from me so why do I have to try to understand someone speaking with a strong accent. Don't get e wrong the people I have spoken to have tried to do what they could but truthfully if the answer isn't in the binder they have no answer. eBay should have one asked us about their new page before dropping us on it. and two have techs there to immediately address the many glitches their new monstrosity is giving to buyers and sellers alike.

i am usually a buyer and my purchase history is mainly many, many items from 1 seller. I do sporadically buy something from another seller. I have fallen asleep so many time waiting for purchase his to load. I decided to try my PayPal statement of activity page and click on a sellers name that was not my reg , and if i could remember the item (s) the approximate price i will guess which debit it was on my statement from PayPal ( online of course) . even if I had to click on many to find the purchase I want , it came up quickly and with header description and the whole post and price I paid etc pops up in a second and from that I can click a button and get it back on eBay. Sounds complicated but works better than going to the grave waiting on my purchase list ! BTW if I did need to find something out of the hundreds I buy from my reg it is still faster than eBay's way. Hope this helps someone out there....
