Unpaid item cases not closing automatically

With the new seller hub update there seem to be a lot of glitches. One of them seems to be that when a buyer makes payment after I had to open unpaid item cases, the cases do no longer automatically close, it has to be done by hand. As we have hundreds of different buyers each week each buying anything between 1 and several hundred items it is not really feasible to keep track of each individual case all the time. Is this a glitch or is it a permanent feature that from now one cases will no longer be closed automatically when payment is made by the buyer?

just a thought...........some ebay functions are lagging behind how they used to work.......ie. taking more time......  How long are you waiting to see if they close?

Among others there are items paid on June 21st that still show with cases opened. They display like this: Unpaid item case open – awaiting payment You can close this case now. Once you click on receive fee credit it shows the item was paid days ago. Paid invoices are handled by different staff so I do not see when specific payments come and in or which orders are shipped.  I use the resolution center to keep tabs on non-paying buyers (lots of them these days) but if the cases don't close it's difficult and besides that you get angry customers complaining about why there case is still open.

I'm having the same issue... To close the case, it says receive fee.

I'm not sure if the buyer is getting a strike for that even though they have paid??

Resolution center says it is a systemic glitch. Customers are definitely getting a strike and cannot bid on many sellers’ auctions. I have several unhappy customers. Check with your customers if you can and call resolution center to have it fixed. It was just June for us, but July and May were totally fine.
