Unable to change Region from Russian Federation to Australia

Hi,

I have been having issues purchasing items from eBay recently.  E.g. I often get messages saying I can't order something from my location. 

E.g. "The item you are trying to purchase is not available for purchase in your location.  You cannot buy this item".  Code: E138542-1225210x

After some Googling, it seems like it's because my Region is set to "Russian Federation" (I'm originally from Russia and that's where I lived when I set up my account).  I'm unable to change this and eBay has not replied to my emails.

I live in Australia and have done so for the past 5 years.

How can I get my region changed?  I am happy to provide evidence of my residency if required.

Hey @julls_julls. eBay made some changes in recent years so it's no longer possible to change registration country. This is due to the payments system they implemented.

You won't be able to change your account, but you can create a new account.
