Top Rated Plus recommendation?

Today in the Seller Hub, I have an option to update all of the listings that posted today in order to get the Top Rated Plus seal + the benefits.

The problem is, all of my listings already offer 1 business day shipping and 30 day returns with money back.  It shows in the listing and in the bulk editor. I'm hoping/guessing this is a glitch, but I don't know and I'm not sure I want to spend the time on the phone to talk to CS.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Re: Top Rated Plus recommendation?

My listings are starting to go under qualify for top rated as well, which they have been for weeks, now it’s saying it’s not, I spoke to eBay and they said it’s because of the new update that started today, and it should correct itself in a few days, we shall see.

@gorillabuffet

Does your policy include the new "free returns" requirement. I think that started today.

May, or may not be the cause of the issue that you are seeing.

Thank you! I was guessing it was something like that.  I guess I'll just hold out hope that it'll be fixed soon.

Re: Top Rated Plus recommendation?

This is where I might be getting confused.  "Free returns" as in no restock fee, yes?

Literally nothing has changed in my set up of listings from what I did yesterday to what I've done this morning.

No, free returns, as in you pay for ALL returns including remorse.

Restocking fees are no longer a TRS+ option.

Oh really? Well, that's fantastic. 😞

>>Well, that's fantastic.

The howls of despair in the 143 other threads on the topic here tend to support that sentiment grin

What changed was the calendar.   New policies, effective June 1, on TR-Plus requirements and on return options.

Ha! Apparently I didn't look hard enough before starting my own thread.

Thanks for your answer! 😄

Re: Top Rated Plus recommendation?

Finding anything in these forums using the forum search is difficult.

A google search like this works when when looking for answers:

"site: community.ebay.com summer seller update"
or
"site: community.ebay.com 2018 top rated seller requirements"

pulls up a lot of old stuff, including archived stuff from 2013 and earlier, but you can throw a google search 1 year or 1 month filter on to narrow it down. And once you see some results, you can use that info to tweak forum searches to better get the answers you need. Things like looking from answers from particular seller using username filter, threads on specific boards, the terminology used (like "summer seller update"), etc.
