Hello,
I am trying to set up "time away" immediately. I have done it several times, however, now, the links appear to do nothing at all. I have tried multiple browsers, hard refresh, soft refresh, clearing cookies-cache, e.t.c. and nothing.

Bookmark every eBay page you use on a regular basis. Many of the seller pages have bad links to other parts of the site.
I often have issues if a page tries to load through auth.ebay. My work around is to go to a different seller page first and then try again either by bookmark or a link on that page.
here is the direct link which loads fine for me.

It seems to be working again.
What I meant by dead link was it was not even clickable. It would highlight when the pointer was over it, but, clicking did nothing(not even frantically and angrily clicking it 1,000,000,00 times ! 🤣)
Thanks for the link, if it happens again, I will try that as a backup plan.
