This week’s changes to the “item specifics” AI are completely inaccurate.

Up until this week, when I’d list an item, I’d create the title and it would “auto-load” key specifics from this information. This worked well and was for the most part accurate.

Whatever you changed this week completely broke the AI. A title like “J.Crew White Dress” gets an auto-fill for the brand SHIFT. And half the time, I type out my own custom title, and it automatically replaces it with a completely DIFFERENT title, because it’s trying to make me work off an old listing from the catalog instead of using the information I just took the time to input.

Just when I think eBay programming can’t get any worse, you find a way to ruin the few things on the app that previously worked!

What ebay made a change to stream line the listing process that actually is causing issues and making the process more complex when there was no problem why that's totally shocking that they would release such a change with out thinking it threw and fully testing the issue using people that have actual experience selling items on eBay. When you get those email surveys asking what could be changed the best thing to do is say nothing at all lol. But what would a seller know after all 20 something hipsters with no college degrees know more than educated individuals with experience because having a myspace or Facebook account for more than 5 years trumps education and actual work space experience these days.

We just went through over 20 adds and after revising the information than saving the new information, it reloaded with the same information prior to our revision. It's just a waste of time dealing with the issues on this platform.

Ebay seems to be on a mission to destroy itself  it spent the last couple of years chasing away its sellers now its chasing away its buyers with a horrible search engine. unamused
