The drop down list for country of manufacture is incomplete

Why isn't a custom value allowed or a more complete list of countries listed in drop down? It seems like eBay in the tools section thinks that everything is made in anything, but USA, Japan or Germany.

Well, when I look at my listings the first name on the "country/region of manufacture"  list is United States. And Germany and Japan are both there in their proper alphabetical order.

In the Stamps section, many countries that issued their own stamps no longer exist.

So there's that- how do you give the country of manufacture?

Or.

In the colonial period, and even today, a nation may have issued stamps that were printed elsewhere, usually in the mother country, like the thousands of French Empire (and even today Francophonie) stamps printed by Courvoisier in France.

Custom value is necessary.

The issue of missing countries in Motors categories was reported a few days ago @paxilill .

eBay usually fixes things like that relatively quick so I'd give it a few more days and check again. If it's not fixed by Mon/Tues come back and let us know.
