The disappearing message to buyer

on the "new, neither enhanced NOR improved" label flow is driving me nuts.

They can't even code a simple text box to SIT & STAY?

Anyone found a way to make it not vanish?

I usually use the same generic message Thank you for your purchase blah blah yada and just edit the item title and ship on date.

Maybe I should start keeping the text in notepad (but I shouldn't HAVE to) as this self style major "tech company" can't seem to manage a simple task like this.

Not actually a 'technical issue". If the mods would leave posts where they were posted I might have had an answer by now

The disappearing message to buyer

Is that one of those form entries where you hover or click on a field to see a drop-down with previous entries?

If so, it is possible that eBay has changed the coding of the page in such a way that your browser's auto-fill feature does not recognize it as the same form. If that is the case, once you enter the text again, it should be retained -- at least until eBay makes another change.

If the problem is with the browser's auto-fill, sometimes restarting the browser can help. But if other forms are still auto-filling normally, the problem is most likely due to a change on eBay's end of things.

No. It's a text box that you enter the message to buyer. No autofill, it was just there when you opened the print label page. It used to keep the message from the previous label you did, but now it clears it every single time.
