Technical problem

For some time now I have been experiencing being unable to reply to questions being asked by potential buyers about the items I am selling. For some reason in my message board when I try to reply to a question it fails to send, this has happened several times with several different ebayers asking a question. I have been going to contact member through their feedback screen to reply and that does work, but my ad will carry that unanswered question prompt all the way through until the ad ends. Some technical glitch that I can correct in my settings?, I really don't know where I would go or what setting I would be looking for. Never had this problem before, it was always just type my reply in the message board and hit send but that simple function is gone and I have to search other ways to contact the buyer or potential buyer with the answer to their question. Thanks for any ideas on how to correct this.

Are you able to reply to messages directly if you use a different browser?

Otherwise your method of contacting the buyer through their feedback page should work.

Depending on which page you are using to view your active items, you may be able to mark a question as answered there.

For certain screen sizes or text sizes, the drop-down arrow at the right side of the "Respond to question" link in the Action column that lets you select "Mark as read"  can be hidden due to the narrow width of the column. You may be able to reveal it by changing the text size by zooming out, or else changing the width of the column by grabbing and dragging the column divider in the header between Action and Photo.

Thank you for the reply and suggestions, I will try them. Yes using the questioners feedback page to answer does work, a little inconvenient but it helps with the frustration when I have typed out a long reply and can't send it on the standard message board. Just had a reply from a potential buyer that I answered through the feedback page and it affirmed that my replies are getting through using that method to answer. Thanks again.
