Technical issues no longer reported in announcements

It used to be standard practice that when there was a technical issue io site glitch, it would be posted in announcements.  The format of announcement has changed dramatically *more like a place to highlight certain sellers and ebay news.  Is it up to sellers to report technical issues?  And if so, will ebay verify what we find and provide an ETA for resolution?

Technical issues no longer reported in announcements

For the seventeen years I've been a member, it's never been standard practice to report technical issues in Announcements (though there used to be a Technical Announcement board which was used so sporadically that years would go by between announcements and when one was posted, it was for a egregious issue that had just been fixed.

At any rate, yes, eBay relies on users to report bugs. The more reports, the higher the priority to fix it.

You can contact eBay and you can also report them here on this board.

Software companies rarely give ETAs on fixes (unless they already have the fix ready to upload).
