It can't be just me.
One completed order in two days.
1000+ feedback customer told me system wouldn't let him pay for order.
3 "request call back" attempts to different numbers - still waiting hours with 17 - 19 min forecast callback
Customer service chat - request person, says "wait 1 minute" then "you've left chat, you can try again", repeats last two indefinitely.
So how do I get support?
I've sent a message to the excellent FB team, but their typical response time is hours.
No messages from ebay reporting account problems, official system status is no outages, but something is amiss.
Anyone else in the same hole?

Customer service is not going to be able to help you with a buyer's inability to pay. It's usually a problem on the buyer's end, and, of course, you're not going to have the information customer service would need to assist the buyer in paying.
The buyer should contact eBay customer service.
If none of the options through the Help & Contact page are available (like email, call back, etc., for the buyer, have him/her contact customer service via private message on social media:

I never had problems paying since 2002 until the last few weeks. One thing that worked was if the seller sent me an invoice, and I used it to make the payment. Unfortunately some sellers, including myself, can't send invoices due to another eBay error.

The CS Chat is getting an infinite loop of "looks like your chat with our agent has finished. I'll send a copy of your conversation to your email shortly." "looks like your chat with our agent has finished. I'll send a copy of your conversation to your email shortly." and phone support outside of US not really helpful. This is pretty akward

Issues, issues issues. Checkout issues for some of my customers (that started in February), call in and the phones just go dead after waiting on hold. Draft issues and so many more. I had the worst sales overnight that I can remember in my 19 years. This is a huge issue with the numbers. I run consistent numbers every day, every month, all year, so when I do barely anything in 12 hours of sales that is a red flag that issues are MAJOR right now. When I did talk with someone yesterday morning he implied paypal was making things difficult in the checkout world. (I'm not on Managed Payments yet). I wish they would help us sellers understand all these issues. It's easier to accept if they let us know, and that they are working to fix it.
