This is ridiculously stupid that there is no actual customer service. I hardly ever use eBay. Reason being of stupid **bleep** like this. Now my account is suspended ( to reason given) when I barely use it. The last time that I used it was to purchase a textbook for class. This is a rental so I will have to give it back and the end of the fall semester but how am I supposed to do that when my account is suspended?

eBay doesn't have book rentals. You bought the book so you now own it. Problem solved.

If you have been logging onto eBay using a shared internet access, your account could have been suspended as being related to other suspended accounts via IP address.

Really a rental on eBay!! Don't think so, actually I know you didn't rent anything on eBay because that is not how it works, you buy things.

You don't rent books here, you buy them.
If you have a habit of renting and returning, that would be a good reason for them to suspend your account.

If you've ever logged onto ebay using a network computer at work, public library, wifi etc. , and someone else using said device got their account suspended, ebay will suspend anyone else who used that device, even if only once... Not right, but that's ebay.

Let me get this right. You purchase books and then return them when you're done, considering them rentals?
Not a good way to treat honests seller if that's the case.
Maybe our learning institutions need to focus a bit more on ethics classes if that's a widespread tactic among students....................................................

Besides the fact that a semester is longer than 30 days! LOL

A book rental can be returned to the book store of the school store where it came from.
Sounds like you'll have to physically return the book to the store for a 'small refund return'.
As far as the account suspended...that could be something done months or years ago by you and you kinda blew it off.

Some of you are always quick to make negative / wrong judgements on here...
If I'm selling used textbooks on ebay, I'm definitely offering a buyback program so I can resell it again. The OP probably just needs the contact info to sell the book back.
