Problem - I am unable to add anything to the new sub-style catagory that is now apprearing on my variation listings for clothing. I choose the selections from the drop down menu and unable to update any of my listings because of the error message.

Anybody have any advice on getting around this?

EBay - Please escelate this to get it fixed! Thanks!

Same issue here and it’s not just Clothing I cannot relist or list, EBay told me I could start over That’s over 600 listings I would have to start from scratch, Total **bleep**!!! They said it was a worldwide site issue. They need to pull their heads out!!!

Was on hold 40+ minuets yesterday and they said it was a site issue Someone needs to be FIRED Sub style Issue under Men’s Activewear so I have to manually change to SPORTING Goods Category and it works, but What a Pain! EBay, Get your$#!+ together!

Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you usually in about 24 hours. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address,phone number, email address, user ID and a brief explanation of your problem.

@centralvalleytitan @Anonymous @subapete @audubonbookstore If you could update thread and let ebay staff know what listing tool you are using... pc, mac, app... windows 10 etc... That would be helpful to the tech team.

Hi @comics-scifi-collectibles - thanks for the call out on this. This is a technical issue that is being worked on at the moment. I'll get everyone reporting being impacted added to the ticket.

The tech team has requested 2 things when adding people to the report: your seller id and the category name (or number) you're seeing this in.

It looks like most people are hitting this in Activewear, but if you're encountering it in any other category please tag me to let me know!

i've had hundreds of listings automatically migrated to the new "Activewear" category without warning. many of the changes are just plain wrong, with shorts and pants moved to "Activewear tops". yesterday i tried updating the missing sub-style specific in bulk but was blocked because of the glitch

now i log in today and am greeted by a message stating that some of my GTC listings were not renewed and expired because their category (Activewear tops) does not support variations. this even though the listing tool allows variations in that very same category

so now i'm forced to hastily move all my listings to legacy categories lest i lose any more aged listings. but the fun doesn't end there: changing categories resets all your specifics. dozens of hours worth of customization on a per-item basis for specifics such as material, sleeve length, etc. is now lost

ebay's incompetence is actually impressive at this point. imagine if they had the foresight to warn their users and allow manual listing migration instead of doing it themselves with broken algorightms. wow!

add me to the list too; Sub style gets error message since trying to list items yesterday. when you try to list a sport polo under a regular polo you can choose the size type but not the size itself

In addition to the Sub Style issue (I have called eBay 2x, they say they know about the issue) those listings are not able to be shipped internationally through GSP.

Check your listings to see if you are having the same bug & report that to eBay as well.

I did post this another thread yesterday. I can't just change the category, I have way to many listings affected. I cant even update my photos (the ones ebay lost last month).
