When posting a listing in the 'Sports Trading Cards Lots' category, the Listing Form has
'REQUIRED' drop-down menus that are absolutely IRRELEVANT to the listing;
Examples:
'Team' - I usually have multiple teams represented, as this is a 'LOT'
'Player' - (see above statement)
'Event' - 100% stupid to even have this as a menu
'Card Number' - When it's a 'LOT' there's often hundreds of 'Card Numbers'
...and the list goes on and on.
I normally bypass these things, but I believe the 'BOTS' see that as lazy, and consider the listing
'incomplete' if these menus aren't filled-in; thereby lowering their rank in search results.
I constantly get reminders about 'Item Specifics' needing attention; when I go see whaat the fuss is about, it turns out 'they' are asking me for a solution that doesn't apply, as in the examples listed above.
It is against my nature to just 'fill in something' to satisfy the 'algorithm', and would like to see these 'Recommended Item Specifics' removed completely where they are redundant or in this case, obstacles in our path to success. Anyone else experience this issue...?
