Spent over an hour posting an ad for a high ticket item eBay asked about my bank just deleted all

I spent at least an hour putting up an ad for a very expensive Beatles album that should sell for $1000. I spent another ten hours researching, and taking pictures . I had not sold on eBay in a few months due to pandemic ( I’m 75 years old ) . These criminals asked for all my banking information again. I gave it to them. Then all I saw for 15 minutes was the swirling circle trying to verify everything they already had.
NOW I DONT HAVE MY AD LISTED ! I’m so tired of getting ripped off by eBay ,and Pay Pal …

The reason they asked for your banking information is because they switched from PayPal to the Managed Payment system.

PayPal is no longer an option for SELLERS just for BUYERS.

Your ad being wiped is probably a byproduct of the Managed Payment system not allowing a listing because of an "error".

Hopefully, the ad may have been saved as a "draft".  If not, you will have to relist the ad again.  I would not try that until Managed Payment has been settled.

I hope things work out for you.

Once you get the Managed Pay taking care of, you may be considered a new seller because of the time between now and your last sale, so may be subject to money being held for upwards of 21 days. You may also have dollar amount limits. Buying does not count for selling metrics nor how long you have been on eBay or your feedback.
