Our sales, few matching the number listed are steady.
Heres what we are doing; rock bottom pricing, very low priced vintage items, most of the items weigh little, but many times shipping is higher than the item itself, most everything is promoted, sometimes raising the price to promote heavily. It appears the items not promoted are getting NO views. Lastly, we have accepted that we aren’t going to make much $$ here, just getting what we can while we can.
right now, we have a lot & it looks like a bad move to buy more inventory with the eBay issues. We are overwhelmed by starting managed payments, figuring out the crazy seller hub, and adding item specifics. Too much work not enough$$.
it’s pretty amazing that some of the sterling jewelry we have sold, less is ending up in our pockets than if we sold as scrap. That doesn’t seem right.
Good news! Neighborhood yard sale coming!! I hate doing yard sales, we have made pennies on yard sales....but it’s easier & we are going to sell at what we are currently getting on eBay after fees.
ebay seems to be in a confused condition. Stepping back seems like a good idea for us. We will wait & see how the platform performs.
Time for eBay to come up to our performance standards. We’ve done it for them.😁😁
