I have 1 day shipping for all items. That means depending upon the time of day an item is purchased it is either shipped the same day or next morning. I have not changed any of my account settings.
I sold 3 items last night, Thursday 9/16, all at the same time of 8:59 p.m.
I order showed correctly - ship by today, Friday 9/17. (1 day handling time).
2 orders show incorrectly - ship by Monday, 9/20. (4 day handling time).
Of course those 3 orders were shipped today, 9/17, along with others.
I have to think longer shipping times negatively affect sales - except for certain categories with more involved packing and shipping, like antiques, glass, pottery. Most buyers expect immediate shipping and fast delivery.
Anyone else experiencing this odd glitch?
Shouldn't eBay be extending buyer delivery dates as we head into the holiday season instead of extending seller ship by dates?
