The eBay status page is showing a blue circle (service disruption) against Checkouts and Buy It Now (BIN), and has been that way for the past several days. Instead of piling all your resources into damage control mode because of what could possibly be considered one of the worst scandals in corporate America in the last decade. How about you guys and gals divert some efforts to fixing what would be considered critical infrastructure, unless I've missed something and a checkout is no longer critical to a retail operation...
Is the technical team currently aware of these issues? Are they currently attempting to restore this vital infrastructure? If so what is the outlook and potential ETA on this vital infrastructure being restored. Getting these fixed might help reduce the number of sellers currently questioning why there's no sales on eBay but why they are getting plenty of sales on other platforms. Also note that as of the time of writing this post, approximately 24% (1 in 4) people on down detector are reporting issues with eBays checkout. Get it fixed...

In the past 24 hours, I have had 4 customers cancel orders because they are not able to checkout. They said they tried multiple credit cards and nothing will work. I spoke with CS yesterday - they said everything was fine on my end. I will call them again now...

I honestly cannot understand why they cannot/will not fix this issue.

Low and behold. Here we still are. Status page is showing service disruptions with Checkouts and buy it now. I'm past trying to be nice about this. WHEN IS THIS GETTING RESOLVED?!?!
