Send Offer to Buyers page is broken

For some reason, the "Send Offer to Buyers" page on one of my items is broken.

I get error messages stating that my offer price needs to be 5% below the current Buy-it-Now price.

The price I entered is 0.1% , as in anything over $3 on a $3200 item returns a fault.

I tried revising the item and re-entering a different buy-it-now price, as well as different offer prices.

Anybody encounter this?

Update;

I called today and was told this is a known issue that does not affect all items on all users. It is being addressed.

Seems to work fine for me using Firefox 31. Throws the error if offer amount is not 5% under current price, and does not if it is 5% below.

What browser are you using? Have you tried it using another browser?

Might be an option if the issue is browser related (the script doing the math is failing in one browser and not another).

Current versions of both Edge and Chrome, both do it on the same item.

It's got to be something in their math or page coding, or a corruption of the item's listing, but seems to be only happening on certain items and not others.

I can get it to work fine on one of my items, but simply not another of similar type and price.

I haven't figured out what, if anything triggers it; revisions, price, best-offer levels, etc.

I'm curious if deleting the item and relisting the item would fix the issue...

That may be the only workaround if it is some sort of "ick" that is attached to that particular listing.

You might be lauded as a hero if you took a bullet and tested that theory by ending and relisting one of the problem listings. Except that that loses the watcher, and you couldn't test the offer function unless they latched onto the new listing - if they did.

(if it works, ending/relisting would provide a last resort workaround except for GTCs that a seller really doesn't want to end)

Buyer not permitted to respond to purchase item at the discounted offer price.

Can only purchase at full price.

Any update from the tech team ?

The offer price of at least 5% of $3040.00 would be $2,880.00

So the offer would need to be AT LEAST $2,880.00 or less
