Seller Hub not updating orders: 11/21/24 11:00 PST

Accepting offers on multiple items this morning, Still show as pending payment, but Seller Hub has not even updated as I've even accepted offers.  Lower additional offers are still shown as active (quantity was 1).  Would like to ship this item out, but it's not even appearing as 'sold'.  Tried a different browser, logged out/in, updated Firefox, cleared cookies, nothing's changed.  Looks as if I haven't sold anything today.  What gives?

eBay has recently changed the way offers work: accepting an offer no longer ends the listing; none of those listings will appear as sold until a buyer actually pays. Until that happens, the items will remain listed and available for anyone to purchase.

In some cases, for auctions or offers with payment required in advance, eBay will give buyers a chance to choose a different payment method or combine auction purchases for about an hour before attempting to charge the original payment method.

The process of accepted offers moving to pending status on the listing's offers management page is something eBay has been rolling out.

While offers are in pending status the item is available for anybody else to purchase until the buyer pays. eBay is trying to eliminate the inconvenience to sellers when buyers lose interest after an item ends so the seller does not have to start from scratch and lose interested buyers when they relist. They're also trying to eliminate the inconvenience of having your item off the market during the 4+ day waiting period for payment.

If the buyer does not pay within a certain amount of time, the offer will expire and be removed from the pending section. If the buyer pays then it will become an official transaction on your orders page. In the meantime, any buyer can purchase at full price or make an offer.
