I see the same results. Very odd. It is possible that eBay is grouping keywords in some odd way that prevents that individual term from matching those items. Not sure why it works that way, but it certainly appears to be broken. Searching by variations of the name "AMD Ryzen 9" turns up similar results (none when searching sold listings).
Searching by one manufacturer part number, on the other hand, does show some sold items:

Having the same issue. This is completely broken and is a major hitch in my selling. I genuinely can’t use the website; eBay gets paid millions of dollars just to maintain a web page, THIS NEEDS TO WORK PROPERLY.

Same issue here. I sell shoes and normally search by the SKU. For example DD1870-100 will show over 300 results. When I filter by sold listings I get 0 results. But I do get results matching fewer words and DD1870-100 is part of those results. I started noticing this problem within the last few days. It worked perfectly up until then. Coincidentally or not, traffic to some of my items seems to have slowed significantly around the same time.

Same issue. Search is broken and frequently returning 0 results for combinations of words. Seems especially bad when using ()'s to search for like (warhammer, star wars, lord of the rings)

Same here. Search is obviously broken.

Same Here. Search: Hot Wheels Nomad 25th - in active listings, and get sortable results. 0 matches found in the sold items, and in "matches with fewer words" gives all the results I'm looking for, but I can't sort by price or anything else in the lower field. Need to know what the recent sales of these items are for correct pricing by me. I can't list mine correctly until this is fixed, so not today, and it will cost ebay $$.
Also, the messages field has no carriage return, like this page. I typed well past the ability to see the main text, and had to artificially use Enter to simulate a proper email. TO MY CUSTOMERS. I'll look for another posting or make my own; didn't try to hijack issue.
Ebay. SMH. Too many problems. I think what we're seeing here in light of the Feb 28th problems (I lost money as well) and more in 2021, is that ebay is ginning up to having REALLY MAJOR problems; it feels like a storm is coming, and I don't think ebay has good enough developers anymore to avoid it.

The problem seems to be connected to certain keywords that contain a mix of numbers and letters.
A search of sold listings for Hot Wheels Nomad 25th turns up no exact matches, but a search for Hot Wheels Nomad 25 provides many results:

You nailed it I think. I gave a poor example in my previous post. Yes typing " (pf67, pr67) " with no quotes in search gives 7,463 results but shows up as 0 sold. Obviously incorrect

Interesting. Searching either of those terms individually turns up results.
But both terms together as "either or" turn up no results:

I'm having the same issue and it's hindering my ability to do my job. Is there a way to report a bug anywhere?

Can you provide an example of the kind of search terms you are using?
You might be able to alter your keywords -- search using a different part number -- and get some results when searching sold items.
If your search corresponds to a particular all-numeric ISBN or SKU number, try searching using that instead of an alphanumeric search term. Try looking at some of the active items that you can search for to see what part numbers appear in the item specifics.

Sending a private message to the eBay for business facebook page is a good way to report a technical problem and get it to the programmers. It may take a day or so to get an answer but they are able file bug reports for you. The same issue is happening on my sold searches as well.

Search on sony wh-1000xm4 returns 274 results. Add sold filter and results are zero. You can leave out the dash or even the wh- .... Does not help. But many of them show under match with fewer keywords. But as stated by others you cant sort the results.

Try searching using the manufacturer's UPC number, 0027242919419:
