Search problem. Yesterday 3 million, today 22 thousand

So, every day I go to my saved searched and click on "hockey cards" (I collect).  Normally, it gives 3-4 million results.  Today, 22 thousand.  No matter what I do, it only shows that amount, and instead of auctions finishing every second or so, they are several minutes apart.  What is happening here?  Thanks.

Re: Search problem. Yesterday 3 million, today 22 thousand

What search are you using?

I see you are registered in Canada. Do you usually search on ebay.ca, or ebay.com?

If I search hockey cards using a US address on ebay.com, I get 3.8 million results:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=hockey+cards&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_fcid=1&_sop=7&_...

Did you add any filters to your search?

I use both, and usually get 3-4 million results regardless of which one I use.  I use the exact same method every day for years.  Today it doesn't work, and I have not touched a setting.  I just went to saved searches and clicked on "hockey cards" like I always do.

When I clicked your link, I got 3.8 million.  When I search using the search bar, 22 thousand.  So weird.

Can you provide a link to your search that provides 22,000 results?

Re: Search problem. Yesterday 3 million, today 22 thousand

That search gives me 4.3 million results when I use "Newly listed" as the sort order, but only 143,000 when using "Best Match".

What postal code are you using for your search? If you have changed your postal code, that might produce much fewer results. The search I linked above had my zip code (02215) specified in the URL. Try changing your search to "Nearest first" and then make sure your country and postal code is correct.

I'll try that.  It's just very odd since I have been using this exact same search for years.  Oh well.  Thank you very much for helping.
