Any item I try to search shows Zero results.

Congratulations ebay IT department. You are doing a great job of destroying the company your sellers built from the inside.

Search is completely broken. I type in "78" and it assumes I want a 78 record - I don't. If I select "stamps" from the search drop down, it gives no results and the normal category filters to select subcategories of stamps is not there. I can't tell it I want United States 19th century user or Great Britain or whatever. Completely broken

Been down for over 30 minutes. No search results

Ain't that the truth! This is worth all the fees they take from us - to have our items hidden from customers.

Let's get this fixed eBay. The terrible economy is bad enough for sales, we don't need search to be broken. No one can find any of our products. You can break it for my competitors, but please fix it for me. 🙂 Thank you.

If a search that has worked well previously suddenly starts behaving badly, often the problem has something to do with a faulty keyword substitution or an inappropriate automatic category navigation issue.
You can bypass many of these sorts of issues by putting one of your keywords in quotes. This forces eBay to bypass the "smart search" features and to search for the literal keywords without any substitution or category switching. You may have to manually specify your category once again.

Try this as a starting point for "78" in Stamps:

I was told yesterday that it was being worked on, "We are currently experiencing a on going issues on the website, but nothing to worry this is already being fix as we speak. let me add your account to our priority list so once the issue is fix you will be notified through email.", The customer service agent today can not find that same information. Adding quatation marks helps with searching, however, most customers would never think of that. So as a priority seller, you guys just wait your turn lol
