Search abruptly working again as of 5:57 a.m. PST

Subject line says it all. Rather than tag on to the eight zillion reports of the original Search nonfunctionality (if that is a word), which I saw here as well, I figured I would start a new topic when it suddenly started working again just now. How stable that is, I have no idea. I doubt we will ever receive an explanation.

Both the app and the web search will provide No matching results intermittantly.

Some searches on the app just show a loading sign, for example, when I can't search "1980 moscow olympics" on the app - it will just show a loading sign, despite being over 10k results.

This is absolutely terrible.

Ayup, I see the same thing. Possibly some servers have buggy new software while others do not. Your results would depend on which server receives your browser's request.
