The white background and blue foreground is very stressful on my eyes. Does anyone else have this problem? I think we should have an option to a more favorable color scheme for eye strain. I list for several hours a day sometimes (I take breaks, look away often, blink my eyes often, use an ap to reduce the blue, etc) but the bright white and blue is hard on my eyes.
I'm hoping technical will see this and come up with an option.

There are browser add-ons that can alter background and text color on a per site basis.
I have been experimenting with "Color Changer", which seems to help. There are some drawbacks, though; certain icons, particularly related to notifications and buttons, lose their color, and some images are no longer displayed unless the effect is turned off.
But if you spend a lot of time looking at sites that have harsh backgrounds or non-contrasting text, it is an option worth considering.

Eburtonlab I agree. It would be nice if there were a dark mode button that we could click instead of adding a browser extension.

Not sure which browser you use. I use Chrome and Firefox. There is a plugin call Dark Reader. It makes the background of webpages black and the text white. One of my favorite and most useful plugins.
You can turn it on or off for specific pages and even mess with the colors a bit to your liking.

This bright white hurts my eyes too.
I like this GRAY background! I want one too!

So far I am liking "Color Changer" extension quite a lot.
I just have to remember to shut it off to view certain images.
I miss the red notification bell, but I can live without that.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try some dark screen options. Maybe the ebay tech team can come up with an option that works more seamlessly for the users.
