Hey, all!
The Save This Search button won't show up if I try to search by starting off from a broad category, like Apple Laptops, then refing my search by selecting filters from the left-hand column.
Is there a way to save a search like this that maybe I am not aware of?
When did this start?

Is this new behavior? I'm not certain.
Perhaps to qualify as a search, you need to add some search terms and actually hit the "search" button. Otherwise it's not really a search, just a category list. Which you could certainly bookmark, but you won't be able to generate any saved search emails.
If you want to save that as a search, try adding some very general search terms such as (apple, power, powerbook, pro, mac, macbook) and hit "search". Then add your refinement filters and save the search.

Let's say that this is new from my perspective. I have noticed it happening within the last month or so but I don't think it used to do that. I think I used to be able to create very broad category searches and save them via the Save This Search button and get e-mails whenever new items were added to the category and filters I set up.
I was thinking that maybe eBay had changed it so that you would have to enter a search term, but it just seems silly to do so when you have the best functioning category search with filters.
