Sales have been steady for the past two weeks, then all of the sudden, they decided to make the unnecessary, ridiculous changes, and poof!! All gone.. down 90% as of 530pm central.

Same here....ZERO SALES for 3 days and counting. Now closing out many of my items. November FOR YEARS has been a strong sales month for my store but not this year. Not buying any new inventory either. Maybe election exhaustion? Maybe inflation? Maybe results of search results and not promoting listings? Or a combination of all of the above. I pay enough in final value fees plus the store subscription, along with huge costs of packing supplies. I can't justify more costs to promote listings. If sales do not ramp up soon, this will be my last holiday season on eBay. More than a little concerned about the lack of sales.

Yup. Same here. Instant. Not a slow process of this happening. If it stays like this, no point selling here.

Changes to site have nothing to do with a decrease in sales.

Sure thing, ebooks.

Same as always, the ebay way....so tired of it!

If only, we can all dream.

Ok. I can see you are delusional, so I will provide a picture as proof, see that huge crash down to 0 on quantity sold.

I also see that you don't sell enough to even notice a change. So there's that as well.

You are totally right about sales going down. Don't worry about ebooks. She always goes against anyone reporting a problem. Always. Even if the proof is right there. I have been experiencing this, too, so I know it's real. Just keep making noise about it. There is def. something wrong with the system.

Curious, what are these changes of which you speak?

I bet everyone's current lack of sales is due to the technical issue that
This is a problem that is costing everyone in sales.
Check and see where your items fall on the list for sale.
It makes no sense at all right now.

There's definitely something amiss, contrary to ebooksdiva's comment. I've gotten some bizarrely low (half of the sale price or lower on competitively priced items) offers today, but no sales. This prompted me to look at the actual listings that the last two lowballs came in on. One of the items was lowest priced and the other was one of the lowest. The weird thing is that another listing for the same exact item at twice the price (almost 300 bucks) of mine had the "great price" banner on it. How is one of the most expensive listings the "great price" item?
On top of that, the sort function was completely gacked. When sorting high to low or low to high, the listings were all over the place with prices in no particular discernible order.

Same here. And the search seems messed up, at least for me. I was looking for Monet white gold tone earrings. Search came back with 3 results for that group of keywords! And 2 were a promoted listing that was shown twice. How is that even possible?

How were you searching? Try this search:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/281/i.html?_nkw=Monet+white-gold+tone+earrings&_sop=10
I currently see 210 results that ship to my location.
Promoted listings are often shown twice outside of a "Best match" sort; once as an organic (non-sponsored) listing that sorts correctly, and once as a sponsored listing that does not sort. "Best match" often suppresses one of those two -- typically whichever version appears lowest in the sort.
