I got a notice that one of my items was sold before sale was over and the starting offer was for $125.00 or best offer. I never got a offer or a chance to counter.

Apparently when you created the listing you had Best offer set to automatically accept offers of a certain amount. Or you had a minimum amount you would accept. The buyer hit the target amount making the item sold.
This is not a technical issue.

According to the listing for the ukulele, you listed it at auction with a $125 BIN (buy it now) price.
Someone bought it for $125.
"This Buy It Now listing sold on Wed, Dec 25 at 1:44 PM."

@dukeco2009, the answer above from @ebooksdiva appears to be correct.
The item was listed with a starting price of $125, but the "winning bid" showing a BIN price of $0.00 indicates that it was sold to an offer, on Dec. 25 at 1:44:13 pm PST:

The purchase history shows that the offer was made Dec. 25, at 1:41:37 pm PST. That was a few minutes before the listing ended, so the acceptance was probably automatic.

And marketplace research confirms that the sale was an offer, which was less than the starting bid:

How do I see my initial listing, I don't recall that I said to except x for item. Thanks.

I believe that you will need to start to relist the item. It should load with the defaults at the same setting as the original listing, so you can check what you had for the automatic accept price on the offer. Once you have checked that, you can close out the page without relisting it.
You should also check to see if you had the setting checked to automatically send offers, because that may be what happened (instead of the buyer sending an offer to you). Apparently it automatically defaults to "On" so you need to double-check this on all new listings.

Thank you all set.
