Sale price is wrong at checkout

Hi I have a sale that has gone through to be ready to be paid. Myself and the seller agree on the original sale price. Th checkout price is wrong of which we also agree on. How does this get changed it cancelled. So that we can have the process me and seller agree with. I have the funds ready he is also ready to sell. The system has never done this in all the years I have been with eBay buying. Any other purchases I am making are fine but this one is very messed up charging me forty pounds more.

Two reasons it could be more..

Best offers don't include shipping. If a shipping cost is in the listing it will be added to the offer amount when the offer is accepted..

eBay will add sales tax if you're buying an item from a US seller and  using a freight forwarder or GSP.
