When viewing our listings on an android phone, the green running total was visible at the top of the page just above the items listed fields. A quick, easily accessed / viewed location.
A quick review of that amount would indicate whether or not there had been new bidding on our items. If the amount remained the same, no need for further review. If the amount had changed, it is of interest/enjoyable to scroll through to see what items caused the change. Without the number showing a change in bidding, one has to take the time to scroll down through all the listings looking for a possible change. I don't find it convenient to do this for a longer list of items for sale, especially when the phone likes to zip by things at the slightest touch. Sad to see it gone, some say less is more, in this case I say less is less but surely you have your reasons for the change.
