For the last 2 days I have received emails from eBay (supposedly ?) stating that I need to “confirm your identity to access your account “. I am trying to figure out WHY I’m getting these? I’ve never had to do this before. Now when I try & log on it makes me change my password every time?
does anyone have a telephone number I can call to talk to a real human being?
Thank you for any help & information!
stay safe

First thong you should do is forward the email to: spoof@ebay.com
You will get a reply fairly soon to tell you if teh email is valid.
You can send an email message to eBay.
Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/help/account/contacting-ebay-customer-service/contacting-ebay-customer-service?...
The email option is at the bottom of the link.
Or you can reach out to customer service using social media:
Getting a hold fof a CS is hit and miss, but here is a phone # 866-487-3229. I was able to get through in the AM California time
Hope this helps!
