I absolutely agree! this is the worst time to have to implement this new format. There are so much error and downtime that all your eBay customer will be running to other platforms since this will be the only option since the holiday is around the corner! eBay should've done this after the holiday to ensure this Alpha/Beta can be implemented without affecting the eBay seller!

Hi everyone, beside of having all those glitches, and seller hub problems, i am not having any sales as if my listings disappeared from ebay, although i went ahead and revise one by one all my listings, what is going on?

Still have a majority of my listings missing item specifics.  I expect my seller fees to be reimbursed for this month, and next, and if I have to spend time re-inputting item specifics for every single one of my listings missing information, the next two months too.  The code running on the back end here is clearly bloated to the point of being broken.  I've dealt with minor issues like the bulk listing tool deleting my information as I fill it out, repeatedly, and the send offer to potential buyers being buggy, having to go and scroll across all your listings to find the blue bar then being kicked to the beginning... But this is next level.  The collective seller community would appreciate an update.

Amen to that.  So far we have received no estimated fix date. Nothing! It's beginning to get beyond old.  So much for eBay's so-called transparency. We all know that eBay must have an internal estimated fix date.  And, I agree that eBay needs to formulate a plan to reimburse sellers.  These issues are too severe and are costing sellers both time and money.

I am really struggling to understand why Ebay has allowed this to go on as long as it has.  Obviously I'm missing something important.

 

I know this is extremely costly to many sellers and it also has to be very costly to Ebay.  So why not just roll back the update that created this monster.  Fix the update OFF the live site and reintroduce it in the New Year.

 

Why can't this be done?  I can't make any sense out of why Ebay doesn't do this!  What am I missing???  Wouldn't it be cost effective to do this?  Soon it will be too late for many sellers to even have a Holiday Season and that is just unthinkable to me over program features that are no where near as important as Holiday sales for EVERYONE!

How about getting the bulk editor to work properly! Updating for newly required updates on hundreds of items 1 at a time is quite seller UNfriendly! Sports Cards - "Sport" is now required and "graded" is required to be filled in.
How about this... just auto populate them with the Category they are listed in and for grading, if i didn't choose a grade when i listed it, autopopulate with "ungraded".

My guess is that they have to keep moving forward because it is steps towards of a larger plan i.e. product based shopping. I am not looking forward to that transition.

I actually don't doubt that in fact it is highly likely.  But that doesn't change what I said.  If it is this problematic and costing both sellers and Ebay all this time and money, it can't possibly be worth trying to force the square peg into the round whole.  

 

Remove the update from the site.  Let it revert back to where it was.  Take the update and work on to fix whatever is causing all these issues and bring it back at a later date, like AFTER the holiday season and then move forward with the update and any long range plan they may have.

Trying to list pillows today on the desktop version, using chrome, I noticed under title, a new announcement/pop over shows what item specifics have been updated-like brand, color, pattern and shape. Most are wrong, for example the star pattern is shoved into shape category, the color white has been shoved in as the brand.  

 

All that is expected because, yay eBay 😞

 

The issue I am reporting is that there are x's next to each specific and also a button reading "remove all" But guess what? Pushing x removes nothing and clicking "remove all" makes the pop over disappear for a mili-second but returns, filled out the same incorrect way. Please fix the x option and the remove option so they actually function.

 

And, pretending someone from eBay is reading this, but I doubt it, for the record,  the new photo layout in the desktop sucks. It mimics the row of photos in the (bug ridden) app instead of the single large image next to smaller boxes that the desktop used to show. There was nothing wrong with the way photos showed. 

 

Why in the world does eBay work on messing things up that work instead of fixing everything broken???

 

Please consider giving those of us who pay for stores waived store fees for October, November and December. You should have offered that in conjunction with forcing smaller sellers to jump up in store level when you implemented forced good til canceled listings. Many of us were forced to go up a store level to avoid extra listing fees.

 

I literally now pay more for less, I have extra fees for things like scheduled start listings (was free under starter store, now .10 under Basic), I've been given zero free listings for awhile, when I paid less, I got 2 free listings offers a month. The only benefit is not paying $70  month to relist and getting eBay shipping items every quarter for "free".

Don't the thread to turn into a back and forth, but just for info....that was asked during the facebook for Business session.  The tech guy said to roll it back would have caused as many problems as it's causing.  Apparently, they have no "reset"/go back ability on the site.
