When I try to reply to a customer in Australia, I get a red banner alerting me with this message.....
"...The question you are trying to answer is either invalid or older than 90 days. You cannot respond to questions older than 90 days.,,"
(below)
I have tried logging out and logging in....tried different browsers, cache cleaning...etc....
ONLY happens with this international customer......I can't say whether it happens with other international customers, but I have not specifically noted it.....(not that many messages from international customers)
been this way for a couple weeks

Try using a different link. If I recall, there is a particular link on one of the seller pages that seems to generate errors on a regular basis.
Try going to the user's feedback or profile page and contacting the user there.

Thanks....yes, that is what I have been doing (going through the contact page for the member).
The problem is when you use "Reply" (within ebay messages) to the original question, the question stays with the thread so I can refer back to it as well as the item we are discussing. When I have to go to the contact form, obviously, I don't have the previous message copied to the body.
Just a minor annoyance, and it just started happening recently.....

If you have your eBay messages forwarded to an email address, try replying directly to the email message (not using the blue "reply" button in the message).

Thanks...I have not tried that yet....I will let you know if that works

Apologies for the delay....My customer just contacted me again and I tried to reply through my email notification and it did not work either. It took me back to My Ebay Messages, where the same error is still occuring.....it is only to Australia (not domestic)
clarification...I don't know if it is bad for our European friends...have not had a message from there....

I tried to reply through my email notification and it did not work either. It took me back to My Ebay Messages
Rather than using the blue "reply" button in the message body, try replying directly to the email, as you would to any other email you had received. eBay will send the email through eBay messages to your user.

I will let you know if that works (expecting him to contact me within the next week)
I appreciate the help
