Topic closed before I could post, please help, I'm receiving emails for orders I never placed with order number, but when I highlight the contact eBay word it won't let me sent THIS IS NOT MY ORDER!! Message, is this a spoof fake user, how do I know this person hasn't hacked into my account? Should I forward the emails to cust srvs?

This is spam. Check your PayPal account as well as your purchase history to ensure nothing that is not supposed to be there is. Mark the email as Spam and delete it. They're trying to get your info by getting you to click either the "contact us" or "click here" links. Also, change your password just in case.

Also, if you compare the logos from your email to one from an actual legitimate email I received, there's a huge difference. The first (top) is the legitimate eBay logo, while the second one (bottom) is the one from the spoof email you received.

Dian, never click on anything in regular email without doing this first:
If there's a link or button in the email, hover your cursor over it (DO NOT CLICK). After a few moments, your mail program should pop up a balloon or line of text with the URL to which the click is going.
If it does not say ebay.com or paypal.com, if it's something else like ebay.russico.com or message.paypal.roolmy.com where the actual dot-com part is something OTHER than eBay or PayPal then it's a scam.
