Re "Smarty" pop up $20 offer

Is this legit? who has been ripped off in any way by it!

OR--

-WHO is happy with their $20 free gift-

-I am just not happy putting in ALL my credit card details in a internet form --

they even ask for expiry date and CCV number---

In my opinion it is not right to provide these --Any comments please .

Re "Smarty" pop up $20 offer

Since I've never encountered this (and am not exactly sure what "this" is), can you please return and give further details?

For goodness sake, don't put your credit card info in some random pop-up. There is nothing free. They are going to charge your credit card for something, why else would they ask for your credit card?????

And a word of advice:  You need to get better at recognizing scam attempts.  If you don't hone those skills, sooner or later, you're going to wind up being scammed big time.

Re "Smarty" pop up $20 offer

I bought a oil catch can from Western filters Sydney on E-Bay payment page i payed with "Pay pal"  and accepted a $70 discount all was good then on R/H side of screen a pop up apeared asked if i wanted a further $20 discount which they said they will pay directly into my credit card --then the asked for card number expiry date and CCV number which i refused to do so signed off---i was concerned because it to me was the E-Bay site . so thats why i asked if anybody else had it got ripped by it or indeed got the $20--(by the way if you Google Smarty --they seem to be an american coupon /voucher redeeming site?)---  dunno dont trust them. Thats why i asked here. Thought e-bay was a secure site on payment page at least---was surprised by "POP UP"

You need to install an ad blocker. That will stop any pop ups. CC Cleaner is very good and free.
