I have the same problem. Contacted eBay support and spoke with Maria who confirmed eBay is aware and she guaranteed that it has been corrected and all she needed to do was void the labels purchased and issue new ones and they would work. I’m currently back at the post office and the new labels aren’t working either. I’m very frustrated for my buyers and trying to get their orders shipped out today. Anyone else still experiencing the same problem?

Yeah, same here too. Very annoying. Especially after I wasted gas going there for nothing. Self serve machine doesn't work either.
I heard from Ebay that it should be fixed (hopefully) by noon tomorrow (not sure which time zone), they claim its USPS fault.

I have the same problem. I tried at another post office and got the same result. I even cancelled the first label and tried a new QR code. I ended up printing regular labels at the Staples.

Hey @wonder1440! Thank you for reporting this issue. We have confirmed with the Shipping team that there was a temporary issue with QR codes on August 5 from 2:00 PM ET to 10:25 PM ET. This issue has now been resolved, and QR codes can now be scanned by USPS. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Just happened to me in Jan 2026, so obvs still an issue. If not too late to be useful--although my local post office could not read the dino-style qr code generated by my phone scanner, a belt-and-braces screenshot of the downloaded label worked fine.
