Promoted DIED

This is day 10 of PROMOTED DEATH .. I’ve put in a complaint ticket and nothing is  fixed.. I haven’t  had a promoted sale in over a week when 75% of my sales were promoted! I’m in Florida that had server issues at the start of this fiasco! EBAY if you want your promoted fees Please fix things! My sales are 80% down!  All data shows promoted is broken on both my accounts!

Doing Promotions ONLY means that your item may show before someone that does NOT do Promotions. 

With well over 35,000,000 Listings for 'Clothing' there is probably 'a couple' ALSO doing Promotions.

Therefore, NOT Promo Death- you are simply selling in a WAY WAY WAY oversaturated category- also

known as

"I sell clothing- death".

Ebay is screwing us BIG TIME. I am in Florida too and have been going through this as well. I had zero sales yesterday and looks like today is more of the same. 15 years selling on ebay - this is abhorrent what they have done to sellers. You are not alone.

Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate that! I did notice server issues at the start of this mess last week! I use my data a lot to know what’s going on and check each morning /evening so I see absolutely a shut down on promoted.. definite issue! We go along with eBays advise.. I got multiples of one item and that works well with bulk orders .. now I’m stuck with huge inventory and no bulk orders.. it’s insanity!

Recent no/slow sales threads seem to show a preponderance of clothing sellers.

Could there be something to be learned from that?

Yes... I am experiencing the same thing. My sales are almost non-existant again. It seems like this happens a lot. I have over 1500 listings and list new items at least 3 days a week. I promote at 10%. I have only had 6 sales this week so far and I usually have about 3 times that in the same time frame when things are working as they should. I am really tired of this up and down...I know there are patterns to sales. Time of year, type of items, etc...but I have tons of Halloween stuff that should be flying off the shelf and it was doing pretty well for about 2 weeks and then crickets again this week. Sales are down 75%!! I use to get a sale or two every time I sent out offers...now nothing! What is up with eBay!! I am wodnering if this is due to the promoted being broken as you claim...that would make sense because lord knows you don't sell anything unless eBay is getting EXTRA $$$!!
