Problems with purchased items and cart

For the last couple of months I've been having a problem with getting these two pages to load correctly all the time. About 50% of the time if I click over to my purchases, I get this error: Sorry, we couldn't complete your request. Try again later. Refreshing the page doesn't help. I just have to give up and come back at a later time and usually it's working ok again. The second thing is that the items in my cart don't always update after I purchase them. I'll go through the whole process of paying for them and come back to pay for the next item and the last items I already paid for are still there. Sometimes it takes about 24 hours for them to finally go away. Far as I can tell it's a problem with the web site and not my browser. I just thought I'd post it and see if anyone else was having the same issues.

Problems with purchased items and cart

@coffcat

If you are having cart issues, I would suggest not using the cart for individual purchases -- buy directly from the item page. Only use the cart if you are purchasing multiple items from the same seller. Keep your cart empty; move any items in your cart to your "saved for later" list, if possible. Put items you intend to purchase in the future on your watch list or other list.

For the Purchase History page, if  you have a lot of items on the list it may be slow to load. Try this 10-items-per-page version of the link:

https://www.ebay.com/myb/PurchaseHistory#PurchaseHistoryOrdersContainer?ipp=10&radioChk=1&Period=1&F...

You might also try switching from the old search history page to the new one (or vice versa) using the link in the upper right corner of the page to see if there is any difference.

If your Purchase History page continues to be a problem, much of the information there is also available on your Summary page in the "orders" section. If you start to scroll down, you should see a dynamic link a the top of the page that will let you jump down to that section.

You don't say which browser you are using; it might be worthwhile to check another to see if you have the same problem. Sometimes deleting cookies or cache can help with slow loading pages.
