Problem with using "Add combination" within the "Variation combinations" page.

Put simply, it doesn't work anymore.

I click it, and all that happens is the box around the variations jumps up a line closer to where the button is.

Tried this in two different browsers, same deal.  I normally use Firefox, but tried Edge as well too. Both react the same way.  It was working fine yesterday.

If I delete all the entries, cannot re-add.

But it will auto-fill the entries if I let it by changing the Attributes.  Which I don't want to do.

I like having this feature, as I have multiple brands of these to list eventually.  Just want to be sure its not something I'm doing wrong, or should do differently or something just wrong with it and not me.  As I said, it was working just fine, but now I can't add any combinations at all.

I tested my other variation listings and have the same results.

I may try a draft one and see if I can from a fresh start.  Will update if that works, but something is bugged out here.

It's Saturday morning (4/16) and the entire Variations option is gone.  I was checking to see if the "Add Combination" had been fixed and couldn't even get to that page .

The "Revise Your Listing" page only allows edits to:  Title; Item Category; Item Specifics; Condition; Description; Pricing; Delivery; Payment Preferences & Sell it Faster.

I'm keeping fingers crossed that Variations is gone temporarily because the tech team is working on it.  Will keep checking

Made my daily call to find out what is happening and I have some info for everyone. There was a ticket assigned today (4/16) or possibly late last night for the tech department to begin working on this as it has now been confirmed that it is an issue. As per the first person I spoke with the first calls received are just about gathering info and then when enough calls are received they escalate it to something that they look into.

This was amazingly frustrating news to find out that calls that I made starting on the 14th did not get anything actually started. We have been with ebay nearly 20 years and using variation listings for over 10 years so we know when there is something wrong but I guess that was beside the point. Great.... At any rate, for any one wanting to check status on the progress, the ticket number is : INC000005136021 . You should be able to give that ticket number to any one at the call center to get updated info.

Hopefully there will now be something done so that we can get back to our business. Keep your calls going in to make it known that we need help and we need it now!

Well, that's great news.  Glad I called in yesterday to help get a ticket started.   Not sure why they can't be bothered to check on something as important as this.

Stuff about feedback that has already been left still nagging for a feedback, I get it, its probably a low priority, but if you are getting calls about an issue with listing items, that hits them right in their pocket book.  You would think they would act on that a little faster!  lol

Hi, I am in the same situation, I give it EDIT and the Variations option does not appear. Also if I want to create a new listing that option doesn't appear either.

Same here. Contacted Ebay support though chat on April16, 2022 at 6;30 pm PST and get this response

"We appreciate you informing us of this. I checked our records about the problem you're experiencing, and we regret to inform you that we're currently experiencing a Bug on our system, which is related to adding combination to multi variation listings. We are already working with our IT department to resolve this issue; rest assured that once resolved, you will be able to continue using our services without issue." 

Please report this issue to Ebay. Easiest way through the chat. The more people affected the quicker they will resolve.

Hi,  it is because you are in the new tools, edit your list and you will see 3 dots above, click there and select the last option "Switch to classic view", click switch listing tool, and variations will appear.

Just to be clear, this doesn't fix the "Add combinations" button issue though.

This was to fix the problem Club was having right?   And I'm assuming its from the tablet/mobile device rather than the computer/website method?  Because I didn't see the options you were describing anywhere.  lol

Because as of this post, the button to add combos is still not working.

I tried accessing my listing from my Android based phone and I don't see anything remotely close to what you described earlier.  Edit list?  Or revise listing?  No dots.  No way to even see the variations on the mobile app at all.  Unless I'm missing something.  Just looking to see if this is some sort of work around.  If its not, then its not helping.   But the site is still busted for me when using the browser on my computer like it has been the last 3 days.

Is it still working for you?  I just did the same and switched to classic view and can see the ADD VARTIATION button but nothing happens when I click on it.

Yeah, this is what everyone has been getting.  And as of today, its still NOT fixed.  Ugh.   This is a big problem for a lot of sellers, it needs to be corrected ASAP!

• Add Attribute > Update Variations
• Pop up appears to update attributes automatically or "I'll do it myself"
• Select "I'll do it myself"
• Takes you back to Edit Variations page
• Click Add Combination button (screenshot in post above)

Result: Nothing happens
