It seems that if you use ebay to create a single shipping label for a sale of more than one item to the same buyer ie bulk packing, even when the label has been created, the seller hub continues to show that you need to create a shipping label. It might be the case for single items too, but i only have the one sale from yesterday so not sure (and yes, I know I'm lucky to have a sale.......I'm now only 37.9% down on a year ago :)). Has anyone else seen this?

Try entering the tracking # of the package onto the 2nd sale...........

Agreed and sadly this has been a long standing issue when you combine 2 items , paid, purchased seperately for whatever reason ( seperate purchases, people have issues at check out not being able to add both items to cart or 2 seperate auctions paid at different times, different shipping methods combined etc etc etc) you need to manually copy paste the tracking to the second (3rd,4th) item so that it shows. DO NOT FORGET to do this - this will affect your on time shipping, metrics etc.

Another suggestion for improvement to Buyer experience ........
dh's suggestion should and usually does remove the need to ship "call out."
Although I have issues where my AP shows 3 different amounts to ship in 3 areas and desktop bell shows a 4th amount. And Alan was reporting/working it out over a month ago
I'd say mark his as the "solution" because it works to fix the glitch they can't/won't. Been this way for years.

Thanks for all responses - much appreciated. However..........
,,,,,due to the fact I am already selling these items so cheap, and having to offer free shipping to do so, I am sending as cheap as possible so not including tracking, so now how do I clear the item from the print label list? I tried making up a tracking number but it seems that doesn't work as system knows its not a real number. Does the fact I often dont use tracking have an impact on my ratings then? I know I shoudl track everything to try to protect myself, but in the current environemnt where buyers can return at will and sellers have no discourse, I'm really not sure there is any point?
Funnily enough trying to figure out a way through this brought a couple more bugs to light 1) If you enter a tracking number and then need to edit it, the system does not let you change the number so you have to cancel the tracking entry and start again 2) If i do create a tracking number which will in time be legit ie count forward latest Royal Mail signed for by 100k, when the time comes for someone to actually register that trackign number they will not be able to as it has already been used. I've used ebay in various guises since 2001 now I think, and like many others can say with certaintly that the programming is getting worse and worse, and the pre-release regression testing can only be described as amateur at best.
C'mon ebay, you need to get back in the drivers seat or this things going to crash and burn!

I used a very cunning plan, which was list at a buy-it-now price which in itself would make a loss, and then make the situation worse by allowing best offers and accepting even lower prices than the buy it now. I figure that having dead stock on the shelf, or a few pounds in the bank I can try to recycle into something else is the best plan of attack in these troubled times for sellers. As someone once told me, "No stock is good stock", which I know is oversimplifying it, but there is some logic in there. Admittedly my ebay store is somewhat tired and needs some re-energising, but I figured I'd invest that energy into trying other things and so far that seems to be working well.........seperate none store account, limited but interesting listings.........better profit margins..........it almost feels like ebay is fun again!
