Please help! eBay SO SLOW in Windows 10!!

I just purchased a brand new computer, and eBay is SO SLOW it isn't really usuable?  Everything else works beautifully.  Is it me, eBay or Windows 10?  I am fairly new to eBay so maybe this is a systemic issue?  Thanks for your help!

I have no problem with eBay in Windows 10.

It could be the computer, or you, or your ISP.

NO it is not only you. Pages were loading like molasses in Chrome, a bit faster in Edge. I think it was all the ads that were loading that slowed it down to torturous slowness. Installed adblock - much, much faster. Go to https://adblockplus.org/ to find the adblock for your browswer. eBAY take heed!

blocked the progressive insurance ad, sped things back up

978hcir thanks, bundles, definitely sped up after the blocker was put on, and the installation was like two seconds, AND no bloatware came down with it either, so a good tip.

Ebay is making more changes and updating servers it will be slow till they are done then the functionality problems will pop up and we will wish it was still slow lol.

I see absolutely no usability or "slowness" issues wit the eBay site.

But I block everything not coming from eBay itself when visiting eBay pages (no ads, no tracking, no google, no Facebook, no PayPal tracking, no yahoo tracking, no nothing.)

In another thread I was looking at a capture another user posted showing the load sequence for an ebay search page. He showed about 350 connections to 3 dozen sites for ads and tracking in addition to the dozen or so for eBay itself, while my browser logged 115 connections.

We both had 100 connections to i.ebayimage.com for the item thumbnail images for the 100 search results that loaded, which means he had a net 250 outgoing connections while I had 15. Those extra 235 connections were for ads and tracking images and scripts. (I see ZERO ads)

That also means that unless a script blocker is in play, he may have had dozens of extra scripts running (in addition to being tracked, tagged, cataloged, and target advertised)

This is why eBay seems to be slow for most of you.
