Paying For Shipping Labels with Pending Payouts with Managed Payments PROBLEM!

I'm now on managed payments since the end of July.  While I had no desire to ever jump to anything eBay claims is great, I had to to continue selling on their platform.  So, today, I'm attempting to print my shipping labels, and I have the message that I can't pay for my 2 labels via my pending payouts because there isn't enough money in my pending payouts to cover the postage.  Hmmmmm.  I'm a full-time seller and I was attempting to purchase a $2.76 label and a $4.00 label.  Fearing something must be amiss, I check my pending payouts and there is plenty to cover the cost MANY times over.  So, I sat back and thought about how in all of my years of selling on eBay, I never once had this issue with PayPal, not once.  I then think, I should contact eBay and let them know about the issue, BUT guess what?!?  You can't contact eBay anymore,  If you call their customer service number, you just get thrown in the loop of being referenced back to the website to answer your question.  I thought to myself, this can't be right, so I navigated to the point where you request a call back for your issue.  Seeing that the wait for a call back was only 1 minute, I thought, "How lucky can I be!"  Well, there's a sad ending to this story and the ending is eBay doesn't call you back.  Thanks eBay! #eBay

That's true.....at least for me..........but the point is sellers are supposed to be able to print via MP........and I had the same problem as paylessfashion........altho I did not, at the moment of trying to print the labels, have enough in pending payments to cover all the labels since I had just gotten a money transfer......

It was/is my understanding that they will allow sellers to charge the shipping, even without adequate funds at that moment, and then carry a debit balance until sellers get enough sales to cover it.  Or failing the sales, they will charge it to the ebay invoice.........that didn't happen and I can't get an answer as to why it didn't on the MP board.....  If it was a glitch, fine.........but if I'm misunderstanding the procedure.......that's going to require even more thought as to how much to keep in paypal to cover shipping after a payout.....

DOESNT WORK. This new system, whatever it is DOES NOT WORK. EVERY time I try to print a label there is an issue, and ENAY is linked directly to my checking acc now, so it is ridiculous and WRONG. What in the heck am I supposed to do here. AGGRAVATED

My paypal balance is O. They just charge my credit card that's linked if I go below O.

They are still having the same issue.  I was told by an eBay rep today that if your pending payment balance is below zero (not exactly zero, which it always is after a payout), then you have to use PayPal to buy a shipping label.  I told him that I have my seller account set up specifically to charge my credit card (on file with eBay) when I have $0 pending payments.  He says that only applies to refunds you have to make, not the purchase of shipping labels.  So, IN FACT, eBay DOES NOT handle your sales fees in all instances - they still rely on you having a PayPal account for a trivial $2.89 shipping label if they just happened to pay you for something you sold  just before you want to print the label to ship it.  I told the rep eBay needs to upgrade their system.

I don't know how your credit card works with Ebay. But when you go to print your label, go all the way to the bottom and there's a checkbox for "pay with paypal" or something like that. Once you do that it will stay that way unless you change it back to take it out of your account.

That way it doesn't matter how much you have in your account. It goes straight to paypal and is paid with your credit card there, even if you have a zero balance in Paypal.
