For 7 days views have not been available and this affect my planning and strategy on buying and selling using 2 different ebay names. Customer Service have told me that this is a cosmetic issue and the technical team are treating this as a priority but traffic and listing impressions are down just under 50% and I am sceptical and feel that there is another underlyeing problem. Is Ebay UK broken?

The same is occuring in the US. Two different things sales and views. The views are a programming issue and the sales are related to the new store pages. At least, that is the way I see things. First Sales, then views follow that...
The sales issue...
If you are on the new store format. When you first go into your store, look at the search bar. The search bar says (in the search area) 'Search this store'. To the right it says 'This store'. But when you click on any item, the search on the item page will say 'Search for anything' and the box to the right says 'All categories'. If you click on the 'All categories' box, You get an eBay cat list. There is no 'This store', in the list. This second search is eBay-wide, not just within the store.
This is a killer for stores with many categories and many items for sale.
The buyer who is shopping around in the store must know to always use the back arrow button, of their browser, to go back into that store.
eBay is leading the buyer away from the store. It appears that if the buyer clicks on an item, and does not buy, then eBay will send them where their big-data says the buyer will buy. This is great for eBay, but not so much for store subscribers.
This appears to be a continuation of the ideas, 'People who viewed this item', 'People were also interested in', and 'Similar sponsored items', found on the sellers item page. Except now, instead of giving the buyer choices, eBay is taking the buyer to those choices and away from the store that they were trying to shop in.
I am not much of a shopper, but some are. They like to look around a bit. Well eBay is letting them look around alright. All over eBay, not in the store they choose to shop in.
For the above to work for the seller, the seller has got to trust eBay to send them enough buyers for them to get an adequete amount of sales. Or, advertise. When they can, inform the buyer to use the back arrow to stay in the store. And to use as many required and recommended item specifics as they can.
The views issue...
Try pressing F5 a few times, else...
1) If you are on the SellerHub, go to the Performance area for info about your listings - https://www.ebay.com/sh/prf/traffic
2) If you do not use the SellerHub, From Trinton at eBay..."As for the view count issue that some are running into, we are currently reviewing this for a fix. While the view count is not displaying correctly, the information is being recorded properly on the backend and is still being fed into our calculations for your traffic metrics (ie. the sales conversion rate)."
3) In any case, look for the following on most eBay pages...
Click on the bottom icon and tell eBay what you think. We are told that eBay associates read these comments.

Not as of today . Same problem has now been going on for around 4 weeks . Desite contacting C.S. 3 times in that period have just been met with the usual ( Our tech team - and I use the term loosely - are aware of the problem and are working on it .
Page views on any website is a fairly basic tool and let's face it all Ebay has to do is keep their website running smoothly and fix glitches quickly when they occur - something which is obviously way too difficult for their techinical staff .
But hey ho it doesn't affect buyers only sellers so why should Ebay care
