Packing list is no longer showing option for customized message to buyers?

All of a sudden today when I went to print a packing slip my customized message to my buyer is missing and I see no option to add or edit one, just some prefilled ones on a drop down list. What's going on? Is this another one of eBay's improvements ;-(

Agreed!  Some of my buyers want to include a personal message on their items as they send them as gifts and there is no other way to include that as there is no gift option available!!!

It looks like eBay is doing away with the custom message on the packing slip for security reasons, though you may be able to add a message using the label management page for the time being.
