Did you mean:

PERSONAL account technically BELOW the standard that sellers are reasonably entitled to expect today

I have PERSONAL account goldenlinnet (936)
on which I list surplus UK postcards from my collection.
It is a good, functioning system
so I know how an eBay personal account SHOULD function in 2024.
.
I also have PERSONAL account wilmilv_0 (311)
on which I want to list surplus French postcards from my collection.
But it is an old-style dreadful account. There is no BULK SELL SIMILAR feature for example.
And every other feature is time-consuming & awkward to use.
.
Is there any way I can keep the existing  email address that I am using for wilmilv_0 (311)
and simply have that old account
upgraded to a modern PERSONAL account.
.
This is not a business
and neither a 'business account' nor a shop would be appropriate
or cost effective.
.

PERSONAL account wilmilv_0 (311) is functioning WAY BELOW the standard that sellers are reasonably entitled to expect today, yet I am being charged exactly the same fees as
other users are being charged for
an ACCEPTABLE STANDARD personal account.
.
With that as a background, it is surely unreasonable to require me to create YET ANOTHER email address
in order to open YET ANOTHER eBay account from ZERO
and then manually transfer my listings over to it.
.
Let me know
Thanks
.

@wilmilv_0

You might get a better response on the UK boards, mostly US sellers here and there are significant differences in the account types (personal / business) on the UK site.

Thank you for pointing that out.
I thought I was on eBay UK when I wrote it.
