I've recently started receiving confusing "Order Delivered" notifications for orders obviously not at that status. Both through e-mail and Android app. In actuality, they have just been "Dropped Off" by the sellers with the tracking freshly added. Looks fine when viewing to the status in the app.
My guess is that the notification trigger got messed up. That or the subject/body is incorrectly configured for drop off.
I don't have any recent domestic orders to compare against, but these are international UK to US shipments.
