3/9/19 I was checking out with a lot of small items from a single seller. Upon submitting the eBay page went to an error. After checking to see what had happened I saw I had about 53 items marked as just purchased even though I had only had about 29 in my cart to begin with. I immediately started a chat and the helpful eBay rep told me that the error displayed (and that I screen captured) was trigged by me trying to pay for more items than the seller had in stock. a close look showed duplicates of exact item numbers and quantities, it was those system generated duplicates that caused the error. The way the rep was able to solve it was to delete all of them.
Ever since then (53 cancels caused by the error) I have been getting intermittent "Buying Limit" popups that stop me from being able to use the system/purchase/offer etc. I have called the issue in and the helpful rep upon reviewing my account (17 years never cancelled or failed to pay ever before) said he lifted the limit and I wouldn't have any more problems. Well it worked for a while and now I'm back to being blocked. Is anybody else being punished by an eBay error? How to you get it solved permanently of is this eBay account ruined? I have over 1000 feedback and don't want to start from scratch but I don't want to have to call in every time I want to make a best offer or purchase.
