Number of bidders incorrect

Ebay shows there are 2 bidders in this auction, I see 5.

So who do I believe ebay or my eyes?

I noticed the same thing, came here to see if anyone else had encountered it. Whatever routine eBay uses to tally bidders must have failed. I have counted the error in at least three auctions in the past few days. You're not imagining it. Anybody know anything about this?

It says five bidders in that particular auction bid history now, but a quick search of auctions with multiple bids turns up other examples where the number of bidders at the top of the Bid History page does not match the actual number of bidders shown by bid.

My active auctions all show 2 bidders even though most have more than that...
